Well first day of qualifiers is done, 5 rounds run during the day. In Mini Tom in Tim are the only ones able to put in 16 laps so far this weekend, everyone else is trailing behind and somehow I have managed 5th so far.

In 540 Pro 3 people are on 15 lap pace with David Stevens out infront of locals Thomas Camilleri and Steven Hutchinson, they will nee to find a bit more speed and consistancy to catch David.

Stock is a the most hotly contested of classes at this years KROMA Cup with 6 racers on 17 lap pace with SA gun James Ainsley leading the timming by 6 seconds followed by 5 racers all within 3 seconds of each other.

Super stock will be interesting in the finals with 6 drivers on 18 lap pace with the heat in the afternoon for the finals will be about making the best out of the tyres and not over driving the car.

Modified is shaping up to have some great close racing with Simon Nicholson out in front on the brink of a 17 lap run which is impressive considering it's only a 5minute race but not to far behing are Peter Jovonavic and Sandy Iavazzo.

Nitro Pro Tourer sees local talent Phil Kleiner at the pointy end by 8seconds followed by Trevor Lockie and Alan Nankervis, will be interesting to see the results of the 15 minute qualifier.

First qualifier tommorow will see everyone throwing everything they have to improve their qualifying position.
